Book Review: The Millionaire Booklet by Grant Cardone

September 11, 2019 by azsamadlessons Leave a Comment

I first heard about Grant Cardone either via Malaysian digital marketer Peng Joon or more likely via YouTube. I’m a fan of Gary Vaynerchuk’s work & I began seeing Grant Cardone’s name compared to Gary. People were discussing about who was better or who was worth listening to more. Over time, I got more curious and began watching Grant’s videos. He wasn’t someone who I gravitated to immediately – it took some time. However, over a period of probably a few months, I began to like what Grant has to say and teach.

This book or as Grant calls it ‘The Millionaire Booklet’ is a slim volume of distilled knowledge from Grant compressed into 46 pages. It contains a Preface giving the background of how the booklet came about & an Introduction giving context to what he writes about in the book. Then within 10 chapters, Grant outlines a series of important steps that he feels are the core of building financial wealth.

Part of the book deals with rewiring or reprogramming common mindset issues that stop people from getting rich. From dealing with the connotation that money is evil or people who have money is evil, to other issues that come with following mainstream personal finance & investing advice.

As I read the book, it was obvious to me that Grant wanted to address the core issues that affect most of the world’s population when it comes to financial wealth. Then, Grant goes into concepts like millionaire math, income flows, simple ways to manage your money as well as his approach to investing.

Since I first read it, I reread this booklet several times & with each rereading, I find new bits that are clearer than before and in some cases resonate even more now.

In conclusion, if you’re curious about the mindset & steps that are important to build your wealth, this booklet from Grant Cardone might just be a stepping stone on your journey.

Pros: Concise writing, easy to digest.
Cons: Content might seem elementary to those who are more experienced with making money, creating different income streams & other related business topics.
TLDR: If you’re curious about making money (and having a clearer idea of the process), I recommend getting this book.

[Submissions for Review Consideration]

  • Are you an author who wrote a jazz, guitar or music book?
  • Have you created a DVD or an online video course or subscription based website?
  • Would you like me to review your book/course?

Please send me a message at azsamad2 at gmail.com with:

For courses: a link to the course/video/product + access info etc.
For books: a link to the book (Dropbox) or PDF attachment (if it’s small) for review consideration.

Depending on whether I dig the book/course, I’ll let you know if I do plan to review it!

I cannot guarantee a review for every submission & if I’m not too into it, I may opt not to review it. I mean, it’s better to get a good review that for me to write a bad review just because it’s not a match for the kind of stuff I dig right? :p

NOTE: All reviews reflect my honest personal opinion so be aware that I will point out both cool Pros and Cons that I see in the work. You dig?
