How to solo on Autumn Leaves: Part 1

July 1, 2015 by azsamadlessons Leave a Comment

Autumn Leaves Emin7 Eb7 Dmin7 Db7 CMaj7In today’s lesson, you’ll learn 4 lines that you can use in the song Autumn Leaves. These lines are an example of connecting arpeggios from chord to chord on the progression: Emin7 Eb7 Dmin7 Db7 CMaj7.

This progression is one of the more challenging parts of this classic jazz standard. For this lesson, I’m playing the song in the key of Eminor.

This video was originally a video response to a question posed by a few members of FB guitar community, Guitarist Nusantara. Thanks for the question folks!

Hope this helps you in your practice.
